As instructed by Khara House over at Our Lost Jungle, I make the following proclamation:
I am resolved to… be a writer.
More specifically, I will:
Post on my writing and photography blogs at least once a week.
Make time to write on my novel and short fiction.
Walk and write for 30 minutes, at least 5 days a week.
You can see how I plan to do that last one over on my photography blog. It's a little tricky.
What to you resolve to do in this new year?

I love it, Rebecca-- there is so much power in such a simple statement ("I resolve to be a writer" is to say "I am a writer," and what power is in that!); but more than that, I love that you broke down what that means into smaller steps. Each time you do any of those things you'll be building up your power (your resolve!) to continue in that claim and knowledge of who you are as a writer! Great share!
Thanks, Khara. I am a writer, hear me roar.
Good luck with your goals! I try so hard to organize and schedule my time...but I'm so spontaneous I seem to fail more often than not. best :)
Thanks, Rebecca!
I'm too spontaneous as well. But if I start with goals in mind, I get more done. ;)
Best of luck on your 2013 goals!
Thanks, Erin!
Best of luck, Rebecca! Looking forward to reading more. :-)
